AuSIM Engineering Solutions Services

Positional 3D Audio Software Engineering
Custom software renderers can be developed for specific performance, source, input, output, or display requirements.
Positional 3D Audio Hardware Engineering
Custom hardware configurations can be developed for specific requirements such as mil-spec, I/O matching, control interface, and mechanical considerations.
Interactive Simulation Engineering
AuSIM has engineers and researchers with over 10 years of real-time, interactive simulation system development experience.  AuSIM specializes in simulations which interface to humans immersively.  Immersion is achieved through the integration of sensing the physical world and computing a simulated result for multi-sensory display with each simulation step.  AuSIM's primary experience in this development is synchronizing audio displays with all types of sensors as well as visual and haptic displays.

AuSIM has developed software to interface to a diversity of sensors and display devices (including position and orientation trackers, haptic displays, stereo displays, occluding displays, transparent displays, wearable devices, flex sensors, motion sensors, pressure sensors, tactile displays, multi-faceted projection systems, and many more).  In many cases, AuSIM has retained licensing rights and can license existing software without expensive redevelopment.  AuSIM's 6DOF position/orientation software (AuTrakTM) is the highest performing tracker interface that exists, as verified by NASA researchers.

Sound Design, Studio Production and Audio Engineering
AuSIM is affliated with SeaCliff Studio, which features complete multi-track digital disk-recording, digital editing and mixing, equalization, and CD production facilities.  Lennox Smith, AuSIM's audio director and the director of SeaCliff Studio, provides AuSIM with nearly two decades of professional music production experience in addition to acclaimed songwriting, arrangement, vocals, and audio engineering.
Licensing
Licensing of AuSIM's AuSIM3D and AuTrak technologies is available for specific markets.  Please inquire.

Licensing of Aureal A3D interactive 3D positional audio technology has been suspended.
